Due to the impact of the Covid-19 Virus, many of RCA’s face to face meetings are being suspended by their hosting facilities. While this is presumed to be temporary we can’t allow our members to go without meetings. RCA offers virtual meetings via freeconferencecallhd.com and zoom.us. Anonymous phone services are available through Google Voice (requires a Gmail account) for listing your meetings. Meetings can request an anonymous email account through the RCA Postoffice which allows email forwarding to privet email addresses.
Freeconferencecallhd.com is a telephone conference service offering free accounts. With this service, you can host telephone meetings for members of RCA to join. You can host “open” or “closed” meetings and require a passcode to join if you desire. There is no limit to the number of members who can dial in. The service offers the option to play and record MP3 files during the meeting.
Zoom.us is a video conference service offering free and paid services. Free accounts allow unlimited time to meetings of two and a 40-minute time limit to meetings of 3 or more. Paid accounts offer unlimited time for meetings Both the free and paid services allow up to 100 connections. Zoom offers the option to record the meeting video, audio, and chats if desired.
Google Voice is an anonymous phone service that allows users to list online a phone number for their meeting that is then forwarded to a privet phone. A ring-down service allows users to provide a list of phone numbers that are called to be answered by any of the members of the ring down list. A voice mailbox (with message transcription) is also available.
The RCA Post office allows meetings to list an “@rca-wso.info” email that is routed to a single or list of privet email addresses.
